Welcome to the Centre for Sustainable Development Initiatives, Inc. (CENSUDI), a non-profit advocacy organization registered in Ghana in 1994 and the USA in 2013. We empower communities to address their socio-economic imbalances. CENSUDI believes that empowering women and girls, particularly in Africa, is crucial for strengthening their communities and organizations. This is because when women have access to education, healthcare, economic opportunities and legal protections, they can lift themselves out of poverty, improve the well-being of their families and contribute to community development. This empowerment leads to more resilient and sustainable communities. OBJECTIVES
- Grow forward-thinking attitudes and mindsets willing to embrace new ideas and to work creatively towards eliminating endemic poverty.
- Develop and implement non-discriminatory/innovative policies and practices that promote long-term development to the benefit of most citizens
- Implement pilot schemes that demonstrate the importance of open-minded thinking in achieving sustainable wealth creation and development
- Engage in advocacy to promote our work and have it replicated and multiplied in and by other organizations and communities
- Activate and empower our partners/beneficiaries to collectively address systemic injustices, propose alternative solutions and build sustainable capacity for long-term transformative change.
